The STables Holiday Cottage
Pets
The best way to enjoy the countryside in Northumberland is to go walking with your dog(s). At The Stables up to 2 dogs may stay however, a small extra fee is payable locally to cover cleaning.
Whilst staying at The Stables, please feel free to use the garden for those early morning and last thing at night necessities however, we do ask that the results are securely bagged and placed in the green waste bin.
Nature
One of the best features of living at The Stables is its rural setting and proximity to nature. It's set in farmland populated by sheep and cattle. The local farmers are very friendly, however they do ask that dogs are kept on leads whilst using the footpaths through their land. The local countryside is full of wildlife including deer, squirrels (red and grey), pheasants, grouse, partridge, buzzards and more. Rabbits are also around in abundance.
If you wish to see a family of woodpeckers on the bird feeders, please bring some bird food. They are shy creatures and it may take a day or two to see them return.
