Lovely house, everything we needed. Weather wasn’t great so there was lots to keep us occupied. Would recommend it to anyone.

Beautifully decorated house, all home comforts. Really comfy beds and well equipped kitchen. Loads of room for 4 couples and 2 dogs - use this as conformation for booking up next year!

An absolutely beautiful and well maintained house, cosy and warm - made us all feel genuinely at home. Such a superb location with a fabulous garden, wonderful walks, views & places to visit all around. Great fun watching the wildlife (& farm-life) in the fields opposite & on the bird table is well visited - even saw the woodpeckers. Do not fail to take the walk across the field past the Gingle Pot to Staward Peel - absolutely stunning!! Thanks so much, we will miss the warm and hospitable Northumberland people.

GREAT BEDS! Had a fantastic weekend - wanted to stay a week. Lovely meal at the General Havelock in Haydon Bridge. Pretty walk to the river and woods across the road.

Despite the weather (3 days of snow) restricting our outdoor activities we had a magnificent New Year break. The house was magnificent for a party of 8and the views spectacular.

Superb accommodation, wonderful views. Staward Gorge is a must-see.Local pub (Carts Bog) serves great food (make sure you book though). Would like to book again in the summer

We have all had a great time here. Lovely house, great garden and very comfortable beds. There is everything you would ever need here and if you get bored of the very large TV then you can look out at the wonderful view.

Because of the enthusiasm of the 3 lady walkers who travelled from Newcastle to Carlisle on Hadrian’s Wall we didn’t see as much of The Stables as we would have liked to. Beds & warmth very good to return to. Use Cart’s Bog for 60th birthday meal. Excellent!
